How to apply DTF transfers – Our DTF Transfer Pressing Recommendations
Follow the steps below to ensure you get the best results.
- Apply with a medium to heavy pressure using your Heat press or Home Iron.
- Ensure your heat is set to 140-160 degrees and temperature has been fully reached.
- Pre-press your garment for 5 seconds to remove any moisture.
- Place your DTF transfer onto your garment and press for 10-12 seconds at 140-160 degrees. Ensure you cover your garment with our sheet first. (which we supply to you)
- Allow transfer to cool (20-30 seconds) Slowly peel the backing sheet away in one motion slowly. Make sure you keep your hand low to the garment.
- Re-apply the silicone sheet and carry out a second press at 140 degrees for 10 seconds.
